This fabric piece was the result of a competition between the weavers to create a fabric with colours that most cloesly matched the colour of our early evening sunsets.

The winner was this Terra Cotta creation by khun On, one of our youngest weavers. We were so proud of her that we decided to make some of the fabric available for sale - but there is a limited quantity so please be quick with your selections.

This 2 ply medium weight fabric is suitable for casual or special occasion outfits and can also be ideal for skirts, pants and kimonoes.

The colours of this fabric used a combination of Gair and Makarm tree timber plus crushed fruits and special soil from one of our nearby klongs (small dams). This klong soil had to have been underwater for at least 10 years and getting it was quite difficult, especially as this soil is a popular living space for snakes!
