This fabric was proudly woven by one of our grandmas and we are delighted to have it available for you.

The Streaked Magenta is a closely woven light weight 2 ply fabric that has light flashes of white permeating through the mauve colours. Ideal for casual/occasional outfits or for those semi-formal dresses - you will stand out with this beautifully created fabric.

Originally grandma Leck was making this for her grand-daughters graduation dress but we loved the colours and convinced her to weave extra fabric so we could make it available to you, our customers.

The colours of the Steaked Magenta are a combination of Gair tree timber, wild flowers, Eucalyptus barks and bush oyster shells. The actual dye process is quite complicated and was made even more so as grandma Leck supervised every step and made us re-do certain dye processes to get it perfect. We hope you like the finished colours.
