The gorgeous grey tones of this particular fabric came from a special tree in the center of our village. it is very, very old and it's leaves have been providing these natural dye colours to generations of silk dyers and weavers.

Usually the leaves are mixed with crushed tapioca seeds and some special herbs and left to soak for quite a few days.The result is the "Petite Periwinkle" colour fabric we have available for you today. This is a rare treat as in recent years the very hot weather had destroyed the dye colour capacity of this very old village tree. This is also why we only have a very limited supply of this fabric.

Suitable for a wide variety of mens' and womens' casual clothes, skirts, party dresses, pyjamas, shirts, scarves, shawls and blouses. Petite Periwinkle fabric will also make unique presents or gifts for that very special person or occasion
