The Light Crimson 2 ply light weight fabric was proudly created by one of our very best weavers, khun Oulai. Magnificently woven this light weight tightly woven fabric is extremely versatile being suitable for casual, semi formal and even special occasion outfits like a mother-of-the bride dress.

The actual natural colours were obtained from wood of the Kaye tree, a local medium sized tree that is best used after lots of heavy rain. Boiled in rain water for 4 hours before being combined with bark from the eucalyptus tree. both are then mixed together along with slices of wood from the Gam Makarm shrub and boiled for another5 hours before being left to cool - then heated again with continual stirring for another 3 hours.

The resulting Light Crimson colour this year was quite different from previous years but we think it's one of our best ever colour creations.
