Comment: Mudmee is regarded as the "Queen of Thai Silk" because of its intricate patterns. In Thai historical times it was the cloth reserved for royalty and the nobility. Mudmee patterns take an extraordinary amount of time to create. This particular mudmee set of fabric took our weaver more than a week to complete the whole process. Thai people simply love this classic type of silk.

Quite often people will cut the fabric set in half using the solid or plain section for a shirt or blouse and the pattern sevtion for a simple wrap or skirt.
